Join The Belltown Film Society on June 18th for a free screening of Alejandro Jodorowsky’s visionary cinematic trip The Holy Mountain in a beautiful 4k restoration, introduced with a performance by local cult figure Queen Shmooquan!  

With “The Holy Mountain” Jodorowsky drew from his work in the 1960’s Panic Movement to create what is widely considered one of the most ambitious psychedelic films of all time. It’s a mystical journey that takes the viewer from one elaborate set piece to another, on a mission to discover the nature of reality.

Legendary Seattle icon, Queen Shmooquan, the Modern Day Oracle, is a shapeshifting purveyor of bizarre images and prophetic messages. Her unhinged psychedelic performance art/comedy and music are a hysterical, absurd, and beyond weird pile of miracles.
